To get started with S4S we suggest the following approach:
- Install Sitecore on a DEV or TEST website.
- Install basic S4S (do not install S4S EXM – even if required).
- Map it to a free Salesforce developer instance or to a Salesforce Sandbox which will have customizations.
- Licensing is not required if you are working against a Developer or Sandbox Edition.
The connector will take Sitecore developers around a day to install and configure for basic functionality (like showing Salesforce documents in Sitecore web pages).
