The published download of S4S has a dependency on the Sitecore WFFM (Web Form for Marketers) module. If you are not using WFFM you can open the core zip file and drill down to the following node:
- Sitecore For Salesforce - Core-1.5.13245.1.zip\items\master\sitecore\system\Modules
In this node please delete Web Form for Marketers. This will prevent the WFFM related functionality from being installed. If you have already run the install before, you will be prompted to skip/overwrite items that will now exist. That is expected, so just click through the prompts.
If you require the WFFM functionality to be used with S4S you should install this before installing the S4S Core package.

If I drill down and delete this, I do not have permissions to do so (I do have administrator rights on the machine I am using).
Unzipping the package deleting and compressing again is losing metadata (or something) and the package does not install properly.
Hi, we have tested this and see the behaviour you mention. When you drill down into the original zip (which contains package.zip) you cannot delete the item directly without that security message.
What we did is to extract the original zip resulting in an unzipped Sitecore for Salesforce - Core-x.x folder. Now drilling down into it allows you to delete the WFFM module.
Then we deleted the package.zip out of the original file and dragged the entire modified package.zip across to the original. We do not get any metadata errors and are able to install the modified package successfully.
Remove WFFM module.docx
Yes, that seems to have done it. Thanks
